Programs

At YBC, we don’t just build athletes—we build ballplayers ready to compete with confidence at the next level. Our program emphasizes injury prevention, advanced player development, and year-round mentorship from one of the largest and most experienced coaching staffs in the region.

  • High School Program (15U–18U): This is where serious players prepare for the next level. Whether it's college ball or chasing the dream of going pro, our experienced coaches provide the structure, training, and exposure athletes need to compete at the highest level.
  • Middle School Program (12U–14U): These critical years are all about preparing for the demands of high school baseball. We focus on refining skills, building strength, and developing baseball IQ—so players hit the ground running when it's time to step on the field for high school tryouts.
  • Youth Program (8U–11U): Here, it all starts with fun. We foster a love for the game through fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence-building—all while laying the groundwork for future success in high school and beyond.

Across all levels, YBC prioritizes injury prevention, long-term development, and individualized support. With one of the largest and most experienced coaching staffs in the region, we ensure every player gets the attention they need to grow—not just as an athlete, but as a person.

YBC High School Program (15U–18U)

Train with Purpose. Compete with Intent. Prepare for the Next Level.

The YBC High School Program is built for athletes who are serious about their future in baseball. Whether your goal is to play at the collegiate level or pursue a professional career, this program is designed to prepare you for the demands of high-performance baseball—physically, mentally, and mechanically.

FALL: Foundational Development + College Exposure

The fall season is where our players build their base. While we attend ~2 college-recruit heavy tournaments, our primary focus is training and player development.

  • "Spring Training Saturdays" simulate a professional-style environment, led by our 20+ position-specific instructors
  • Focus areas include increasing throwing velocity, refining swing mechanics, improving defensive range, and elevating baseball IQ
  • Pitchers follow customized throwing plans with integrated recovery protocols
  • Arm care, mobility, and workload management are emphasized to protect player health and longevity
  • November is designated for rest and recovery, allowing the body to recharge before ramping back up in winter

WINTER: Precision Work + Competitive Edge

From December through February (pre-dead week), YBC athletes enter the off-season grind. Winter Workouts are high intensity, highly structured, and tailored to maximize in-season performance.

  • Pitchers throw weekly bullpens with Rapsodo tracking and feedback
  • Saturday Competition Days bring the energy up—live reps, simulated game situations, and competitive team challenges
  • Focus remains on explosiveness, bat speed, arm health, and mental preparation for high school tryouts

SUMMER: Exposure + Execution

Once high school ball concludes, players return to YBC for our High School Jamboree, an internal showcase where all YBC teams compete in a round-robin format, kicking off the summer with intensity and camaraderie.

  • 5–6 elite-level tournaments provide national exposure and high-end competition
  • Additional regional and national roster opportunities are available (not included in base fees) for players looking to elevate their visibility
  • Emphasis on performance under pressure, recruitment readiness, and next-level execution

YBC Middle School Program (12U–14U)

Prepare for High School. Play with Purpose.

The YBC Middle School Program is built to bridge the gap between youth baseball and the high school stage. Led by our Middle School Director Chris Curry, and supported by professional head coaches, this program delivers advanced development in a fun, competitive environment.

We follow the same seasonal structure as our High School Program, giving players the consistent rhythm they need to grow:

FALL – Skill Development Starts Here

Fall is a critical training phase, with a primary focus on refining mechanics, building baseball IQ, and preparing for the demands of high school.

  • Teams train weekly, with Spring Training-style practices led by YBC’s professional coaching staff.
  • Players also compete in select tournaments, testing their skills in real-game environments.

WINTER WORKOUTS – Sharpening the Tools

From January through March, players train with purpose in our Winter Workouts:

  • Structured throwing programs to protect arms
  • Position-specific instruction to clean up mechanics and improve performance
  • Saturday Competition Days to boost intensity and spark excitement for the upcoming season

Our coaching philosophy is clear: Get it right early. That’s why YBC brings in professional coaches starting at 12U—to ensure players learn proper movement patterns, stay healthy, and develop the right habits that will carry them into high school and beyond.

SPRING – Compete and Grow

Summer is where development meets competition. Players compete in top-tier tournaments appropriate to their level, building experience, confidence, and love for the game. Our teams are challenged to compete at the highest level possible, but always with fun, growth, and injury prevention at the heart of what we do.
